Speaky's mispronouncing my name. How do I fix it?
Spell it the way it sounds in Settings — not the way it's actually spelled.
Your name is Sean but Speaky pronounces it like "seen." Type it as Shawn instead.
What's the difference between Kid mode and Adult mode?
Kid mode keeps everything magical and safe — gentle voices, friendly personalities, nothing scary or crude. Adult mode unlocks the full personality catalog (the absurd, the political, the unhinged).
How do I get more talk time?
Every plan refills monthly from your purchase date. You can also buy a one-time top-up of minutes anytime from the Settings screen — no commitment.
My characters lost their memory?
Any time you toggle memory mode on or off, the memory wipes. If you didn't touch that, it's just because our characters can only hold so much at once.
How do I cancel my subscription?
Open Settings inside Speaky, tap your plan, and tap Cancel. It opens Apple's Manage Subscriptions screen. You keep any unused minutes, but no new minutes will refill.
Does Speaky save my voice recordings?
Audio is transcribed in real time and discarded. We don't keep recordings of you. See the Privacy Policy for the full breakdown.
Can I delete my account and data?
Yes — open Settings → Account → Delete account. That wipes the server-side stuff (your account, usage, subscription). The rest — characters, memory, conversation history — lives on your phone, so it sticks around until you uninstall the app.
